Usiru foundation (R.),had celebrated Environment Day
on 8th June 2013 along with Rotary Club, Nagarbhavi by conducting a
green walk from Government Higher Primary School Pappareddypalya &
Sunkadakatte to Kuvempu Ranga Mandira, Nagarbhavi. Smt. Aarthi, eminent
scholar and orator was the chief guest. Krishna Guruji of Sri Om Seva
Kendra was also present and spoke about some effective environmental
practices and home remedies for common health problems like cold, hair
fall etc. Usiru president Shri Venkatramana Bhat had
graced the occasion. The programme itinerary comprised of inter-school
essay competition and prize distribution ceremony.
