LIVE GREEN, STAY GREEN!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The constant green-minded thinker thinks :
1. Are the surroundings of my home clean and green enough? If not what can I do for it be so?
2. Being a citizen, I have the right of proper waste disposal. Am I segregating waste? Is the local municipal corporation disposing it in the right way? If no, what must I do?
3. Do people burn waste material near my surroundings? If they do, what should I do?
4. Is the drinking water available in my home and locality potable? How do I know?
5. Can I save water and harvest rain water?
6. During festivals, am I nature conscious? Am I celebrating it in an eco-friendly manner? (Ganesh Chaturthi, Deepavali, Holi etc.)
7. Am I carrying a bag to the shops? Can I reduce the usage of plastic covers, cups, and glasses?
8. Am I using electricity and fuel wisely?
9. Do I use harsh chemical sprays or insecticides?
10. Plants, saplings make cherish-able gifts, don’t they? Would it not be nice to plant one in remembrance of an occasion/person/event?
Love your environment... Cherish it!
Be the change you want to see.
